2. Benchmark solution#
2.1. Calculation method used for the reference solution#
The reference solution consists of the calculation carried out with similar modeling by L.Granger, as part of his thesis [bib1]. The test case concerns the calculation carried out with the experimental data corresponding to the Flamanville enclosure. The implementation and results are described on pages 185 to 204.
Drying is carried out over 54 years, taking into account the change in boundary conditions in the fifth year.
2.2. Benchmark results#
Water concentration in the thickness of the chamber after 5, 15, and 54 years.

2.3. Uncertainty about the solution#
We only have water concentrations calculated as part of Laurent Granger’s thesis, without precise numerical data. The reference results are directly extracted from FIG. 1. The uncertainty of the solution is more important in the skin (where the dots are superimposed) than at heart.
