Summary

This is a thermo-mechanical fracture test for an axisymmetric problem. We consider a circular crack immersed in a medium that is supposed to be infinite. A uniform temperature is imposed on the lips of the crack. This test makes it possible to calculate the \(G\) energy return rate.

The interest of the test is the stability of \(G\) according to different crowns and the comparison to an analytical solution.

This test contains axisymmetric modeling.

The differences in the calculation of \(G\) on different crowns compared to the reference solution do not exceed \(\text{1,5\%}\).
