5. C modeling#

5.1. Characteristics of modeling#

The modeling C is in all respects the same as A except for the direction of the solicitation.

The discrete is no longer used only along its axis, but in the direction of the first trisector.

In addition, we choose \({K}_{\mathrm{ix}}={K}_{\mathrm{iy}}=2\mathrm{.}{K}_{\mathrm{iz}}={K}_{i}\), where \({K}_{i}\) is given in §2.

5.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

The mesh consists of two nodes connected by an element SEG2 with an axis \(\mathit{Ox}\).

5.3. Tested sizes and results#

We choose \({U}_{1}={2.10}^{-4}\mathrm{mm}\) and \({U}_{2}={8.10}^{-4}\mathrm{mm}\).

After digital application, the reference solutions are:

\({F}_{\mathrm{1x}}={4.10}^{4}N\)

\({F}_{\mathrm{1y}}={4.10}^{4}N\)

\({F}_{\mathrm{1z}}={2.10}^{4}N\)

\({F}_{\mathrm{2x}}=\mathrm{10,5}{.10}^{4}N\)

\({F}_{\mathrm{2y}}=\mathrm{10,5}{.10}^{4}N\)

\({F}_{\mathrm{2z}}=\mathrm{6,5}{.10}^{4}N\)
