9. Summary of results

This test allows you to activate Multi-Heaviside for X- FEM elements. We show that we are able to differentiate the number of cracks « seen » per mesh from the number of cracks « seen » per node. In the example of this test case, some knots see a maximum of 2 cracks while the meshes see 4 cracks. It is also shown that it is possible to take into account contact conditions on interfaces, the nodes are then also enriched by multiple Lagrange degrees of freedom.

The approach has been validated in D_ PLAN, in C_ PLAN and in 3D, for small and large landslides.
