3. Modeling A#
3.1. Characteristics of modeling#
We use 3D volume modeling for concrete and a GRILLE_MEMBRANE model for reinforcements whose support meshes are quadrangles.
3.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
The mesh contains:
100 hexa20 meshes for concrete
1 QUAD8 mesh for the steel frame
3.3. notes#
All the behaviors of the materials remain in the elastic domain.
Travel is evaluated in points \(A\) and \(B\) described above.
Deformations and stresses are evaluated in the concrete mesh adjacent to the inner surface and in the concrete mesh adjacent to the outer surface.
