v6.04.155 SSNV155 - Drained triaxial test on a sample rotated at an angle of —PI/6 with respect to the x axis with model CJS (level 2)#

Summary

This test makes it possible to complete the validation of level 2 of model CJS already covered in test case SSNV136. It corresponds to the numerical simulation of the same test (drained triaxial test) on the same material but with a different geometry. The tested sample is thus rotated by an angle of \(–\pi \mathrm{/}6\) with respect to the \(x\) axis. As a result, directions \(x,y,z\) are no longer main directions. This makes it possible to validate the numerical integration operations of the model that act on the non-diagonal terms of the tensors, deformations and stresses.

As for test case SSNV136, the calculations are carried out only on the solid part of the soil, without hydro-mechanical coupling. For reasons of symmetry, only one eighth of a sample subjected to a triaxial test is interested in. The lockdown level is \(400\mathit{kPa}\).

It is a non-regression test. The results obtained are compared with those provided by an Aster calculation with a mesh whose axes of symmetry are the coordinate axes. They correspond exactly to the rotation of angle \(–\pi \mathrm{/}6\).
