v6.04.146 SSNV146 - Regularized limit analysis. Torispherical bottom tank#
Summary
This test makes it possible to qualify the operators used in regularized limit analysis.
The limit load is calculated by a kinematic approach regulated by the Norton-Hoff-Friaâ method. With respect to the index A of this document, it should be noted that the calculation method has been modified in the Code_Aster which no longer uses the Norton-Hoff material but uses more general resolution with incompressible elements.
The reference problem comes from a European benchmark carried out as part of a Brite EurAM BE97 -4547 « LISA » project in 1998.
An axisymmetric reservoir with a torispherical bottom is considered. The constituent material meets the vonMises criterion and the structure is subjected to internal pressure.
The structure is modelled by incompressible elements.
The resolution by the regularized Norton-Hoff-Friaâ method is carried out in the command STAT_NON_LINE. Post-processing in command POST_ELEM makes it possible to obtain the estimates of the upper and lower limits of the limit load.
The reference solution is numerical and the results are in perfect agreement with the reference values. Some implementation details for this test case are presented in the user help document [U2.05.04].
