4. B modeling#

4.1. Characteristics of modeling#

Modeling: COQUE_3Dpour test the contact between two plates.

where \(\text{*}\) refers to the middle node of the plate.

\(A=\mathrm{DR1}\) or \(\mathrm{DR21}\),

\(B=\mathrm{DR2}\) or \(\mathrm{DR22}\),

\(C=\mathrm{DR3}\) or \(\mathrm{DR23}\),

\(D=\mathrm{DR4}\) or \(\mathrm{DR24}\).

The nodes on which the boundary conditions are applied are the nodes named \(\mathrm{cente1}\) and \(\mathrm{cente2}\) located at the center of each plate.

4.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

Use of meshes QUAD9

4.3. Tested values#

Central Node Identification

Analytic

\(\mathrm{DZ}\)

-3.426875 E-01

\({\sigma }_{\mathrm{yy}}\)

+7.6481 E+09

4.4. Comments#

The results obtained with contact are acceptable since an error of the same order of magnitude is obtained as those without contact with a single plate twice as thick.
