v6.04.108 SSNV108 - European CT-Round Robin Test Tube in Fracture Mechanics (1985)

Summary

It is a static test for a three-dimensional nonlinear elastic problem. This test makes it possible to verify the invariance of the calculation of \(G\) with respect to the integration crowns.

The functionalities tested are CALC_Gpour the FEM and CALC_G_XFEM models for the X- FEM models.

Three models are available:

• modeling A: mesh crack, quadratic 3d isoparametric elements,

• B modeling: unmeshed crack (X- FEM), 2D elements

• C modeling: non-meshed crack (X- FEM), 3d elements

The formulation of this test comes from the European Round Robin in fracture mechanics in 1985.
