2.1. Calculation method

To validate the nonlinear eccentricity, we compare the solution (in terms of stresses and displacements) of a single plate with two glued plates with a half-thickness and offset by a quarter of this thickness.

2.2. notes

Because of the theoretical assumptions for calculating shear stresses on DKT, it is not possible to compare a homogeneous plate with its equivalent of two plates glued in thickness. So the SIXZ component of the constraint is not tested in this case.
