Loading and boundary conditions are modelled by:

In order to respect the behavior of the bar as best as possible, the length of the bar is extended and a Young’s modulus of \(2E7\mathrm{MPa}\) is imposed on this excess material.
The other meshes are assigned the nominal value of \(200000\mathrm{MPa}\).
