19. Q modeling#
19.1. Characteristics of modeling#
A 3D modeling for solid elements is used with the CONTINUE method for the treatment of CONTACT with MORTAR pairing and LAC cutting. Two calculations are performed by inverting the master and slave contact surfaces.
19.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
The mesh contains 1374 elements of type TETRA4et 343 elements of type HEXA8. The meshes of the 2 contact surfaces are incompatible.
19.3. Tested sizes and results#
The contact pressure is tested on all the master and slave contact surfaces, as well as the components of field CONT_ELEM.
