8. F modeling#

8.1. Characteristics of modeling#

It is a modeling in plane deformations (D_ PLAN).

Young’s modulus \({E}_{1}\mathrm{=}{E}_{2}\) and Poisson’s coefficients \({\nu }_{1}\mathrm{=}{\nu }_{2}\) are \(1.0E9\mathit{Pa}\) and \(0.2\) respectively. The pressure applied to the outer edge is that equivalent to the application of a pressure of \(1.0E7+\mathrm{10E5.cos}(2\theta )(\mathit{Pa})\), on a disk, \(\theta\) being the polar angle.

8.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

The mesh (Figure 3.2-1) includes:

  • 120 SEG3 meshes;

  • 900 QUAD8 meshes.

8.3. Tested sizes and results#

The minimum value and the maximum value of the movements and of the contact pressure at the interface are tested.
