A traction test is carried out here.

3.1. Characteristics of modeling#

Modeling in plane deformations D_ PLAN for the elastic element.

Plane modeling for the joint element (keyword PLAN_JOINT).

3.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

Number of knots: 6

The elastic element is a QUAD4.

The joint element is a degenerate QUAD4 (knots combined).

3.3. Tested sizes and results#

The normal stress is compared with the reference solution at different loading times that correspond to different state of damage to the joint.
