v6.03.126 SSNP126 - Validation of the JOINT_BA law of behavior (steel-concrete link) in 2D plane#

Summary:

Validation of the JOINT_BA law of behavior of the steel-concrete bond using the \(\mathrm{2D}\) plane joint element. This joint element is embedded in two nodes and linked to a cube element with the characteristics of any elastic material. By applying a monotonic sliding loading on the cubic element, the degradation of the interface is verified, as well as the transition from small deformations at the beginning of the experiment, to large slips observable from the peak of the bond strength. In this test case, the parameters used do not correspond to the data of a particular experimental case. However, the validation is carried out by comparison with results obtained with the code FEAP from Professor Taylor, from Berkeley, the software in which this formulation was implemented.
