v6.03.112 FORMA10 - Practical work from the « Advanced use » training: loading path#
Summary:
This test illustrates, on a material point, the influence of the loading path on the response of elastoplastic behavior. It highlights the effects of time discretization. It is inspired by test SSNP15: a material point, made of a plastic material with linear isotropic work hardening, is subjected to both tensile and shear forces. The main advantage of this test lies in the non-radial nature of the load.
Modeling A corresponds to force-imposed calculation, with behavior VMIS_ISOT_LINE, and illustrates the influence of a discretization in rough time compared to the solution obtained with a finer time step. To obtain a solution with a finer time step, we force the re-division of the time step on a criterion based on the increment of the cumulative plasticity (modeling B).
