v6.03.108 SSNP108 - Concrete element prestressed in compression#

Summary:

We consider an elementary structure consisting of a square concrete plate crossed by a prestress cable whose neutral fiber coincides with the horizontal axis of symmetry of the plate. The left vertical edge of the plate is fixed. The cable is pulled into tension at both ends in order to pre-stress the plate under compression. Voltage losses along the cable are overlooked.

The aim of this test case is to validate, on a simple configuration, the method for calculating the equilibrium state of a prestressed concrete structure. The results are validated by comparison with an analytical solution.
