3.1. Characteristics of the model

As shown in Figure 3, there are 3982 quadratic, Barsoum type, elements in the mesh. The mesh is refined around the crack as shown in Figure 4.

3.2. Tested sizes

Table 1 lists the reference values obtained by POST_JMOD for any contour. For the testcase, we set VALE_CALC =0.03249 with a tolerance of 1E-6 and VALE_REF =0.03569 with a tolerance of 1E-2.
