v6.02.112 SSNL112 - Bar subject to cyclic thermal loading#
Summary:
This test case is part of the validation of the elastoplasticity behavior relationships of bar elements for the quasi-static mechanics of structures.
A bar embedded at these two ends undergoes a cyclic thermal loading inducing tension-compression forces.
Each modeling makes it possible to validate one of the non-linear behavior relationships introduced: linear isotropic work hardening with Von-Misès criterion (modeling A), linear kinematic work hardening with Von-Misès criterion (modeling B), as well as a so-called Pinto-Menegotto model, representing the cyclic behavior of steel reinforcements in reinforced concrete (models C and D).
