Summary:

The field of application of this test concerns the dynamics of structures, and more particularly the calculation of non-linear transient response by dynamic substructuring.

The aim is to calculate the non-linear transient response of 3 beams flexing with impacts at the center of the beams. The beams are modelled by elements of type POU_D_E (Euler model).

The reference results come from a direct transitory calculation by modal recombination. This test therefore makes it possible to validate the tools for calculating the transient response by substructuring, in the case of taking into account shock-type nonlinearities between mobile structures.
