4. Summary of results#

Across all the quantities, there is a very good agreement with the analytical solution produced. The least well represented quantities are the shock duration and the shock instant (better than \(\text{1\%}\) though). This problem is not related to the precision of the calculation but to the sole fact that an integration time step of \({5.10}^{-4}s\) was chosen, which over durations as short as \(\mathrm{0,03}s\) already produces a temporal imprecision of \(\text{1,66\%}\). To complete this synthesis, a convergence test could be carried out by reducing the calculation step.
