9. Summary of results#
The analytical solution of the friction problem is reproduced with very good precision (\(\text{<0.5\%}\)).
For the A, B, C, D, F models, this nevertheless requires the use of a tangent stiffness parameter that is quite high in relation to the stiffness of the system as well as a relatively short integration time step.
For modeling E, which uses an implicit law of behavior instead of penalty coefficients, the integration time step is between 10 and 50 times lower than other models, the stiffness coefficient is that of the spring.
