Summary:

This test is the result of the independent validation of version 3 in linear transient thermal.

This is a \(\mathrm{2D}\) plane problem represented by two models, one plane, the other solid.

The features tested are as follows:

• flat thermal element,

• volume thermal element,

• transient thermal algorithm,

• geometric singularity,

• limit conditions: imposed temperature.

The advantage of the test, in addition to the fact that it is an industrial case, lies in taking into account a geometric singularity in transient thermal analysis.
