v4.22.002 TTNL02 - Thermal transient with phase change#

Summary:

This elementary test makes it possible to deal with a unidirectional problem in non-linear transient thermics and to verify that a change in liquid/solid phase is taken into account by Code_Aster by introducing the latent heat of fusion via the volume enthalpy. The solution is analytical and involves error functions \(\mathrm{erf}\) and \(\mathrm{erfc}\). The problem is treated in plane and volume cases.

For the models presented here, the differences in the results obtained by*Code_Aster* are between 1 and 4% of the analytically calculated reference.
