4.4. notes#
The symmetry of the mesh means that solution \(T\) at the nodes of the mesh is accurate. But in the elements, the extrapolated solution is not exact.
The flow is calculated by*Aster* at the points where the elements are integrated and then transferred to the nodes by extrapolation. As the flow is not uniform, this extrapolation leads to a difference between calculation and reference.
