3. Modeling A#
3.1. Characteristics of modeling A#
Modeling is AXIS.
Modeling A performs several calculations, with the 2 types of loads (PRES_REPou FORCE_NODALE), and different material assignments (3 different cases).
That is 6 different calculation cases.
Calculation 1:
Vmat1 is assigned the material Material_1.
Vmat2 is assigned the material Material_1.
Loading is done with PRES_REP.
Calculation no. 2:
Vmat1 is assigned the material Material_1.
Vmat2 is assigned the material Material_3.
Loading is done with PRES_REP.
Calculation 3:
Vmat1 is assigned the material Material_1.
Vmat2 is assigned the material Material_2.
Loading is done with PRES_REP.
Calculation no. 4:
Vmat1 is assigned the material Material_1.
Vmat2 is assigned the material Material_1.
Loading is done with FORCE_NODALE.
Calculation 5:
Vmat1 is assigned the material Material_1.
Vmat2 is assigned the material Material_3.
Loading is done with FORCE_NODALE.
Calculation 6:
Vmat1 is assigned the material Material_1.
Vmat2 is assigned the material Material_2.
Loading is done with FORCE_NODALE.
For each of the preceding calculation cases, G has been calculated on different crowns:
Crown 0:
Lower radius = \(0.0\)
Upper radius = \(0.025\)
Crown 1:
Lower radius = \(0.025\)
Upper radius = \(0.05\)
Crown 2:
Lower radius = \(0.05\)
Upper radius = \(0.075\)
Crown 3:
Lower radius = \(0.075\)
Upper radius = \(0.1\)
Crown 4:
Lower radius = \(0.025\)
Upper radius = \(0.5\)
