5. Summary of results

We note that the B model (\(\text{LL}\)) is very close to the quadratic Castem \(\text{Q}\) model. A (L) modeling is not sufficient and stress oscillations can be observed in concrete.

Using two linear elements per volume element is therefore recommended for the modeling of reinforced concrete.
