2. Benchmark solution#

The reference solution is the result of a 1D calculation performed with Code_Aster (cf. modeling B). The latter is itself validated compared to solution RDM for a cantilever beam. The analytical solution is equal to:

\(w\mathrm{=}\frac{F\text{.}{L}^{3}}{3\text{.}E\text{.}J}\)

where F is the concentrated force applied, L is the length of the beam, E is the Young’s modulus of the material, \(J\mathrm{=}\frac{b\text{.}{h}^{3}}{12}\) is the moment of inertia of the cross section of the beam.
