The quantities tested relate to error standards \(\theta \left(\nabla X\right)\) and \(\theta \left(\epsilon \right)\) according to the relationships:

The reference is here considered to be “NON_REGRESSION” as long as the test focuses on the \(\theta \left(\nabla X\right)\) and \(\theta \left(\epsilon \right)\) error standards and not on the \(\nabla X\) and \(\epsilon\) components.
