2.1. Calculation method used for the reference solution#

The reference solution is obtained numerically. It is therefore only a non-regression test.

2.2. Modeling results#

The optimal value of the radius of curvature, complying with criterion \({\sigma }_{\mathrm{mises}}<{2.10}^{9}{\mathrm{N.m}}^{-2}\), is \(\mathrm{1.1m}\), obtained after 5 iterations. At each iteration the radius of curvature is increased by \(0.2m\).
