6. Summary of results

All the methods used (UPWIND, SIMPLEXE, GEOMETRIQUE) made it possible to correctly calculate the position of a crack formed by two backgrounds and propagating in mode \(I\). The stress intensity factors have been calculated correctly and the methods used correctly calculate the level sets at each propagation.

The results obtained make it possible to validate the implementation of multi-cracking (case of a single crack with several bottoms) in operator PROPA_FISS.
