5. C modeling

Similar to B modeling, in the sense that we add a fictional link node for the macro-element by the new keyword GROUP_NO from MACR_ELEM_DYNA to calculate the frequency impedances of soil under the foundation.

The static rigid link interface modes are replaced by the first 6 zero frequency modes of the free foundation structure. A new mixed model consisting of the foundation structure and the supermesh based on the soil macroelement is constituted. We are also testing option MATR_IMPE_INIT to extract ground behavior from two frequencies.

The frequency responses are equivalent to those obtained directly by the chaining between Code_Aster and MISS3D which take the place of reference “AUTRE_ASTER”.
