6.1. Characteristics of modeling#

We calculate the mean deformation from a modal calculation with CALC_MODES.

The operator OBSERVATION is also used for the surveys of displacement fields and deformation.

6.3. Tested sizes and results#

The average value of the deformation of the first longitudinal mode of the beam is tested at the nodes located in the middle and at the free end. The reference values are those obtained with version 10.1 (non-regression test). They are given with four significant figures.
