3. Modeling A#
3.1. Characteristics of modeling#
Modeling A uses a behavior model for the linear embankment, the calculation of the initial stresses using the operator MECA_STATIQUE and the dynamic calculation using DYNA_VIBRA. The evaluation of the safety factor is carried out by the macro command POST_NEWMARK directly by providing the radius and coordinates of the sliding circle.
We activate the option to check the mass of the sliding zone, with a relative error RESI_RELA of 2%.
3.2. Tested sizes and results#
We test the value of the global safety factor in statics, my maximum and minimum value of the safety factor in dynamics and the maximum value of average acceleration.
