2. Benchmark solution#
2.1. Calculation method#
The co-localized harmonic response at point A is calculated by a direct method, frequency by frequency. So, frequency by frequency:
we define a viscoelastic material whose properties are interpolated from the data of;
the assembled mass and hysteretic stiffness matrices are calculated;
we solve the dynamic equation on a physical basis (operator DYNA_LINE_HARM [U4.53.11]).
2.2. Reference quantities and results#
The tests are carried out on the frequency response co-localized to point A at 1 Hz, 100 Hz, and 500 Hz.
