Summary:

The objective of this test case is to validate command CALC_CORR_SSD and to present an example of typical use. Here we compare the first 5 natural frequencies of a rectangular steel plate of \(\mathrm{1m}\mathrm{\times }\mathrm{2m}\mathrm{\times }\mathrm{1cm}\) supported on its 4 corners. To compare, we consider on the one hand a complete mesh of the rectangular plate, and on the other hand of two square meshes, of different fineness. A first generalized model is constructed by a substructuring method, then the quality of the results provided by this model is evaluated using the command CALC_CORR_SSD. The calculated enrichment terms are then used to build a new generalized model, and to verify the relevance of the enrichment.
