3.1. Characteristics of the mesh

The rotor is meshed in 21 finite shaft elements of type POU_D_T and includes 5 discrete elements of type DIS_TR for modeling disks and bearings.

3.2. Tested sizes and results

The tests ensure that the code is not regressed. They relate to the first 12 frequencies, for rotation speed \(5750\mathit{tr}/\mathit{min}\), for the two calculation methods. They are also testing reduced amortization.

The frequencies obtained by direct calculation at the central rotation speed are in perfect harmony with those obtained by interpolation within the range of variation of the speeds of rotation.
