v2.02.112 SDLL112 — Seismic analysis of a multi-supported beam (spectral response)#

Summary

This test concerns the seismic analysis by the spectral method of a vertical beam, embedded at its base and articulated at two points of different altitude. The structure is subjected to an excitation provided in the form of a spectrum of pseudo-accelerating oscillators.

Through this problem, we test the modal combination CQC of the COMB_SISM_MODAL [U4.84.01] operator, with or without taking into account the neglected modes.

In addition, we test the operators CALC_MODES [U4.52.02], NORM_MODE [U4.52.11], [], MODE_STATIQUE [U4.52.14], and DEFI_FONCTION [U4.31.02]. DEFI_NAPPE U4.31.03

Validation consists in:

    • compare the results with those obtained using CASTEM 2000 (modeling A (3D) (3D) (modeling A (3D): single-press combination CQC, multi-support excitation identical to combination supports CQC);

    • find the single-support response using the multi-support path, in the case of excitations identical to the supports (models A (3D) and B (\(\mathrm{2D}\)), combination CQC);

    • check the non-regression of the response in the case where there is no reference data (different excitations at the supports).

The results obtained are in agreement with those from CASTEM 2000. In the case of excitations equal to the supports, the response calculated in multi-press via the option “CORRELE” is identical to the response calculated in mono-support.
