v2.02.017 SDLL17 - Large curved beam fixed on both ends

Summary:

This study aims to perform a spectral modal analysis on a pipe network according to the input data specified in test No. 06 in document NUREG /CR-1677 BNL - NUREG -51267 vol.1

The pipe is modelled by Timoshenko beam elements with a circular cross section. The entire pipe is based on several elastic supports. The system is subject to a few point masses.

The model and modal analysis are generated from module BEAM of salome_meca 2020 while the spectral modal calculation is done using Code-Aster.
