6.1. Characteristics of modeling#
Discretization of the two beams by two SEG2 cells (1 each) and 2D_ DIS_T finite elements.
The resolution is done using schema HHT without overshooting (SCHEMA =' NOHHT ') of the DYNA_NON_LINE operator.

6.3. Tested sizes and results#
The infinite norm of the difference between the analytical solution and the solution calculated at the level of mass no. 3 is evaluated. This comparison is made for displacement, speed, and acceleration.
