Summary
This test case consists in calculating the damped transient response of a free-embedded system of two linear spring weights, subjected to an imposed mono-support acceleration.
Its objective is to validate the methodology consisting in calculating the modes by blocking one and then the other of the two masses. A unique modal base is created based on these two modes. A dynamic calculation is then carried out using modal damping deduced from these modes.
