Summary:
This test was part of the set of dynamic tests planned as part of VPCS, a batch that was officially unsuccessful but served as the basis for a number of Code_Aster dynamic test cases.
It comprises a set of eight point masses and nine springs excited by a random force imposed on one of the masses.
The excitement is of the white noise type. It is given by the power spectral density of the excitatory force.
The movement of the excited mass is calculated by a stochastic approach using various frequency discretizations for the response.
The spectral moments of the response are also calculated by post-processing.
