4. B modeling

4.1. Characteristics of modeling

The mesh is composed of a single QUAD9 mesh modelled in COQUE_3D.

In the modeling, we force a single iteration in the STAT_NON_LINEsous command the linear elastic behavior relationship only with DEFORMATION = “PETIT”.

4.2. Comparisons and results

We test the difference between the stress field and the vector of nodal forces calculated by STAT_NON_LINE and those calculated by the CALCUL command.

Note: A significant difference in behavior is observed with DEFORMATION = “GROT_GDEP” for COQUE_3D. This difference is due to the fact that the normal variation was not taken into account in order CALCUL.
