5. C modeling#
5.1. Characteristics of modeling#
The C modeling uses a behavior model for the linear dam, the calculation being carried out from the operator DYNA_VIBRA on a physical and temporal basis, with an undamped Newmark temporal integration scheme (\(\mathrm{\beta }=\mathrm{0,25}\) and \(\mathrm{\gamma }=\mathrm{0,5}\)) and a modal damping reduced by 0.01%.
For modeling C, we use:
the definition of the circle using a sufficiently refined 2D auxiliary mesh of the same circle using the keyword MAILLAGE_GLIS from modeling A.
the option to automatically build the sliding circle. In this case, the calculation with the auxiliary mesh is used as a reference value.
The safety factor is calculated dynamically for the first time step.
5.2. Tested sizes and results#
The value of the dynamic global safety factor is tested at the first instant estimated by the macro-command POST_NEWMARK.
