9. Summary of results

The comparison between the calculations carried out with relationships on the degrees of translation, translation and rotation, of translation with TYPE =” EXCENTREMENT “with the keyword factor LIAISON_PROJ of the command AFFE_CHAR_MECA and the calculations carried out by explicitly giving the relationships between the degrees of freedom (keyword factor LIAISON_DDL of the command AFFE_CHAR_MECA) shows the correct functioning of the command:

• Comparisons made on the field of movements at all nodes and on all components show that identical results are obtained;

• Comparisons made on the stress field at all Gauss points, at all sub-points and for all components show that identical results are obtained.
