3. Modeling A#

3.1. Characteristics of modeling#

We use a AXIS model. The crack is not shown. The entries for the POST_FM operator are read from tables extracted from a priory calculation.

3.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

The mesh contains 4 elements of type QUAD8. These elements correspond to the support of the crack bottom node \(B\) from modeling A.

3.3. Tested sizes and results#

We test the output table for operator POST_FM. This table is obtained in point \(B\). The results obtained are the same as those obtained by the a priory calculation.

3.4. notes#

We validate the case of a defect of type DDR, defined by the condition \(\mathit{max}(\mathit{KELAS})>\mathit{max}(\mathit{KPLAS})\).

The axisymmetric case is validated, where the calculation of the energy return rate must be normalized to the radial distance.
