4. Quantity and components introduced in Code_Aster#
The calculated values are stored at Gauss points or at the nodes depending on the option selected. The size FACY_R (FAtigue CYclique) has been introduced in the size catalog.

VNM1Z |
component \(z\) of the normal vector at the critical plane related to the max damage |
DOMMAGE |

VNM2X |
component \(x\) of the normal vector at the critical plane related to the max damage |
VNM2Y |

Table 5.5-2: Components specific to multiaxial cyclic fatigue for non-periodic loading
The parameter “DOMMAGE” is for operator POST_FATIGUE. The ENDO1/ENDO2 parameter is for operator CALC_FATIGUE
For non-periodic loading, if there is only one critical maximum damage plane, VNM2X, VNM2Y, VNM2Z are the same as VNM1X, VNM1Y, VNM1Z. If several planes exist, an alarm is issued and the first two plans are released.
