13.1. Operand SOUS_POINT#

“DEPL_ELGA”

Calculation of movements at sub-points.

To visualize a CHAMP_ELGA on the « deformed » structure, a DEPL_ELGA field is calculated from the DEPL field (at the nodes) using the element’s shape functions.

For elements with sub-points, knowledge of form functions is not enough; it is also necessary to know the position of the sub-points as well as the kinematic equations relating the movements of the support element to the movements of the sub-points. This information is only available via CARA_ELEM.

The components of field DEPL_ELGA are DX, DY, DZ.

“TEMP_ELGA”

Calculation of the temperature at the sub-points. This option allows you to know the temperature that is used during a mechanical calculation in the law of behavior.

For items with sub-points, it is necessary to know the position of the sub-points. This information is only available via CARA_ELEM.

Field TEMP_ELGA has TEMP as its component.
