DYNA_LINE is the unified operator for performing a transient or harmonic response calculation on a physical or generalized basis. It can also deal with localized nonlinearities for transient response calculations, soil-structure interaction, or fluid-structure interaction on a generalized basis.
The advantage of the DYNA_LINE operator, compared to the DYNA_VIBRA or CALC_MISS operators, is that the user does not need to worry about the steps of assembling the matrices. The construction of a relevant projection base for solving the problem on a generalized basis is automatically carried out by the operator based on the information provided.
The product concept depends on the type of calculation performed (dyna_trans, dyna_harmo).
