3. Operands#
3.1. Keyword MAILLAGE#
Name of the mesh of the base cell that you want to use for the homogenization calculation.
Notes:
The mesh is that of an octant from base cell \(\left(x\ge 0\phantom{\rule{0.5em}{0ex}};\phantom{\rule{0.5em}{0ex}}y\ge 0\phantom{\rule{0.5em}{0ex}};\phantom{\rule{0.5em}{0ex}}z\ge 0\right)\) for periodic homogenization for three-dimensional analysis
The mesh is that of a quadrant of the base cell for homogenization in order to be analyzed with plate elements or shells in Love-Kirchhoff kinematics
The mesh is necessarily made with three-dimensional meshes
The mesh may include cavities
Only solid mesh groups are used, there is no need to define others.
No group is needed if TOUT =” OUI “is used in AFFE.
Example: perforated structure with regular rectangular step

3.2. Keyword factor AFFE#
The keyword factor AFFE makes it possible to assign the various material concepts assigned to the groups of cells constituting the base cell.
Notes:
Affected materials must be isotropic
Materials are mandatory functions
Materials ELAS_FO, THER_FO, or THER_NL are mandatory
The intersection of assignment groups must be empty
Overload rule applies
3.3. Keyword factor VARC#
The key word factor VARCpermet to define the control variable that will be used to extract the elastic and thermal parameters of the materials of the base cell, as well as the values of the control variable, identical throughout the base cell: temperature, irradiation.
3.4. Operand TYPE_HOMO#
Define the type of approach on which the homogenization method is applied:
MASSIFpour a three-dimensional homogenization for a three-dimensional analysis in massive finite elements and
PLAQUEpour homogenization for analysis with plate or shell elements in Love-Kirchhoff kinematics.
3.5. Operand VECT_NORM#
If TYPE_HOMOest PLAQUE, it is necessary to define the normal axis of the plate, and this keyword is then mandatory.
3.6. Operand UNITE#
Logical unit to save corrector fields in MED format
